Odessa's Billiards Cup: A Celebration of Tradition and Skill
The City of Odessa will host the Mayor's Billiards Cup from May 1 to 5, 2025.
This event is part of the Ukrainian Cup for both men and women.
“This is more than just a competition. It represents a continuation of a rich cultural tradition where the intelligent, precise, and refined game brings together individuals of character. Historically, figures like Churchill and Roosevelt, Hemingway and Chaplin spent time at the billiards table. Today, we gather once again in Odessa to meet, converse, and support our athletes and veterans. These are the individuals who defended Ukraine and now showcase their resilience through the game. I invite everyone interested to come. Join us at the ‘Arena’ Billiards Club to experience an atmosphere of respect, competition, and intellect,” said Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
