Innovative Workshop for Young Inventors
On February 5-6, 2026, the Odesa Youth Technicians Station «Amateur» hosted a significant technical workshop titled «Models of the Future». This event marked a pivotal stage in preparing students for the ChildTechExpo city exhibition-competition – 2026.
In the creative laboratories of the institution, true engineering magic unfolded, where under the guidance of experienced mentors, young geniuses immersed themselves in complex technological processes.
The participants developed prototypes of modern flying devices, worked with innovative composite materials, and accurately configured intricate remote-controlled systems.
The most excitement came from the test flights of gliders conducted in the facility's lobby. Each launch confirmed that the children's models are not just toys but technically sophisticated devices with impeccable aerodynamics.
Meanwhile, an architecture and design section operated alongside. Here, the participants presented models of energy-efficient housing. In their projects, the children displayed a deep understanding of contemporary urban challenges, integrating sustainability principles and «green» energy into their designs.
While adults work towards victory, the younger generation is mastering technologies that will serve as the foundation for our state’s development and prosperity.
