Mobile Safety Class for Students at Odesa Lyceum
As part of a collaborative project between the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service, supported by UNICEF, students from grades 4-5 at Odesa Lyceum No. 71 had the opportunity to attend a mobile safety class.
The primary focus of the event was on fire and mine safety. During the meeting, representatives from the State Emergency Service shared valuable insights with the children about the importance of following safety rules in dangerous situations.
Students learned how to prevent fires, what actions to take in case of ignition, and how to identify explosive objects and the procedures to follow if they encounter suspicious or dangerous items.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students not only to listen to experts but also to engage in practical exercises, examine visual aids, and ask questions.
Such educational initiatives help instill a culture of safety in children and equip them with the skills to respond appropriately in critical situations.
