Revamped Sports Facilities Open in Odesa
The grand opening of a newly renovated skatepark and basketball court in the Peresyp district of Odesa included sporting activities for both adults and children.
«Today, skateboarders and cyclists are enjoying the revitalized area – it is now safe, clean, and comfortable. This was made possible through the collaboration between the city and reliable partners, including the public organization «Barrier-Free» led by Oleksiy Morozov and MTB Bank», remarked Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov.
«Restoring such a facility is quite challenging; it must be convenient and safe. We had numerous discussions with the school administration, athletes, and parents – and we decided to definitely bring it back to life», said Oleksiy Morozov, advisor to the mayor on barrier-free spaces.
In addition to the updated locations, a new football field will soon be added, expanding the sports opportunities for local residents.
