Photography Exhibition on the War in Ukraine

In Odesa's City Garden, a photography exhibition titled "Memory of War" has launched. This initiative is a collaboration between BMW Motorrad Odesa and renowned documentary photographer Kostiantyn Revutskiy. The photographs showcase over twenty locations in the city that have suffered from Russian attacks: missile strikes, drone impacts, and destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Kostiantyn Revutskiy is the creator of the globally recognized photo project «The Price of Freedom», which has toured numerous cities across Ukraine and Europe. As a photographer and motorcyclist, he travels through Odesa on a BMW, documenting the aftermath of hostile bombings.

"The main goal is to document the war in Ukraine. People see these images, share them, and participate in collaborative projects happening in Odesa, Kyiv, and other cities in Ukraine and beyond," Revutskiy explains.

This project aims not only to depict destruction but also to unite people—photographers, motorcyclists, artists, and viewers. According to the author, the exhibition serves as a space of memory, strength, and hope for victory.

“Our first aim is to show these places to ourselves, to our fellow Ukrainians, and then to Europe and the world. We start with ourselves,” the photographer shares.

The presentation also allowed visitors to engage directly with the author and learn more about the story behind the project. Kostiantyn Revutskiy plans to showcase these photographs at the Odesa Art Museum in the future.
