Eternal Tribute: Tree Planting Event in Odesa
On November 8, 2025, educators in Odesa held a tree planting event to honor the memory of fallen soldiers. Young saplings were planted near educational institutions, including ash trees, birches, maples, oaks, viburnum, pomegranates, paulownias, chestnuts, lindens, spruces, and bushes of Cossack juniper and magnolia.
Young trees symbolize bravery, strength of spirit, and readiness to defend one’s homeland. This event serves as a profound expression of gratitude to our defenders and a reminder that the memory of heroes will live on in the hearts of people and the green streets of our city.
Odesa’s educators not only focus on teaching and nurturing the younger generation but also exemplify love for their city, unity, and care for the environment.
