Meeting for Budget Development in Odessa
On September 27, 2024, an important meeting took place in Odessa, attended by representatives of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice, local government bodies, and directors of municipal enterprises.
The meeting, initiated by the Finance Department, focused on identifying new opportunities to increase the city's budget revenue and ensure its execution this year.
The main goal of the meeting was to establish that joint efforts and cooperation among all participants should be the key to successfully executing the budget in 2024 and forming a quality budget for 2025.
The discussion was held in an active atmosphere, where participants addressed issues arising from the war that hinder effective governance.
During the meeting, the focus was placed on solutions to problems regarding the budget's revenue, as well as the need to update the database of taxpayers.
Implementing the budget for the Odessa community will ensure the city's stability, rapid support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and social assistance for soldiers and their families.
As a result of the meeting, a joint action plan will be created, aimed at increasing the budget revenue through the utilization of all available reserves.
