Tragedy in Odesa: Teenagers Electrocuted
Authorities in Odesa are investigating the circumstances surrounding the electrocution of two minors. One of them has died, while the other has sustained serious injuries. Rescuers were also on the scene, assisting the injured individual off the train roof.
According to the police, the incident occurred yesterday, March 9, in the evening near the railway station on Baltska Road. Preliminary reports suggest that the two boys climbed onto a stationary train, where they were electrocuted. A 16-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries, while a 13-year-old was rescued from the roof and handed over to medical personnel.
"Rescuers used a tripod ladder and rope to bring the injured boy down, who was then hospitalized in serious condition. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified," the State Emergency Service reported.
