Acts of Kindness: Good Deeds Week 2025 Kicks Off in Odessa
The city of Odessa has launched the «Good Deeds Week 2025». This annual charitable initiative brings together local authorities, businesses, and the community to carry out good deeds for the benefit of society.
As tradition dictates, this project spans one week each year. This time, 15 weeks of good deeds are scheduled from April 4 to July 18.
«We are here today not just to launch the «Good Deeds Week» — we are opening our hearts, sharing our energy, and investing our dreams for a better future. It is especially delightful that these acts of kindness extend beyond Odessa and unite all of Ukraine!
Thanks to your efforts and volunteers from various cities, kindness becomes a universal language understood by everyone, regardless of their place of residence, age, or profession», noted Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
In 2025, the project has expanded and is being implemented in other cities across Ukraine.
Addressing the participants, the initiator of the «Good Deeds Week», Deputy Mayor Pavel Vugelman, expressed:
«I truly believe in the boomerang effect of kindness in the world. I believe that kindness always returns! I believe that to do good deeds, you do not always need resources or money; all you need is a willingness to help!»
