Latvian Delegation Visits Odesa Region
The Odesa region welcomed a Latvian delegation led by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economics, Edmunds Valantis.
This was reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
— the overall situation in the region;
— the potential for Latvian participation in the concession of the Black Sea seaport;
— support for the region's energy system;
— development of business contacts in a round table format involving entrepreneurs from Odesa and Latvia.
«We have longstanding inter-regional ties with Latvia — a signed agreement with the Vidzeme planning region, partner support, and a true friendship tested by time,» noted the Regional State Administration.
