Temporary Disruptions in Mobile Apps Due to Technical Issues

Due to technical updates at "one of the large data processing centers," there have been disruptions in the operation of mobile applications, as reported by "Diia".

Details:  Social media users report that applications of various services, including "Nova Poshta", "Diia", and "Kyiv Digital" are not functioning.

Horokhovskyi suggests that a hacker attack might have occurred on one of the major data centers.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, due to the technical failure at "Oschadbank," contactless payment for subway rides is currently unavailable.

Currently, you can pay for your ride using:

  • transport card;
  • qr code generated in the Kyiv Digital app;
  • paper qr ticket.

Updated:  Later it was revealed that the issue was not due to a cyber attack, but rather resulted from a power outage during scheduled maintenance at the De Novo data center.
