Fire Hazard Alert in Ukraine: New Warnings Issued

In most regions of Ukraine, excluding Crimea and the western regions, an elevated fire risk has been declared from April 29 to May 1.

This information comes from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

During this period, there is a significant threat of forest and field fires, particularly in the central, southern, and eastern parts of the country.

The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard prohibits open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge citizens to adhere to fire safety rules, refrain from burning dry grass, and avoid leaving unextinguished fires unattended.
