Despite shelling: ports of "Greater Odesa" ensured the departure of 4,600 vessels

This was reported by Ukraine's Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Oleksiy Kuleba.

Nearly 4,600 vessels have departed from the ports of «Greater Odesa». Export goods have been sent to 53 countries, including those in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

Despite ongoing attacks on port infrastructure, the maritime corridor continues to operate and remains a key element of global food security, ensuring steady grain supplies to regions with limited access to other routes.

“Last year, air raid alerts were declared in the Odesa region over 800 times. The total time that port workers had to interrupt operations and take shelter exceeded 32 days. Despite these conditions, the logistics process did not stop and ensured stable exports,” emphasizes Oleksiy Kuleba.
