Preparation of Odessa's Boilers for the Heating Season
The municipal enterprise «Odessa Heat Supply» announces the completion of all necessary works on the city's boilers to commence the new heating season.
For the 2024-2025 autumn-winter period, specialists have prepared 156 boilers located throughout the city. All equipment has undergone testing and preparatory work, and is ready to provide heating to residential buildings and social institutions in Odessa.
Specialists have performed works of varying complexity: repairing damage to thermal networks, servicing boilers, combustion systems, and pumps, as well as gas and heat pipelines, chimneys, and other equipment used for heat production.
All small boilers in the city are equipped with generators to ensure uninterrupted operation. Projects are ongoing where cogeneration units will be installed with the assistance of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and UNDP Ukraine.
Work is in progress at the district boiler «North-2», where a new chimney and gas ducts are to be installed. The project is funded by UNICEF.
