Greening Initiatives in Odesa
City workers, alongside members of the Azerbaijani community and other local organizations, planted around 300 young trees in a park known as Azerbaijan Park in Odesa.
This planting event was part of a regular community service day.
Preparations for the tree planting began well in advance. Workers prepared the site for the new trees, using tractors to dig holes and bringing in seedlings of ash, maple, and acacia.
In the near future, new benches and bins will be installed, and flower beds will be created.
Overall, nearly 250 volunteers participated in this community effort.
