Autumn Landscaping Efforts in Odessa
The staff of the Municipal Enterprise «Miskzelentrest» works daily to maintain cleanliness and order in the green areas of Odessa, including parks and squares.
Currently, autumn tasks are in full swing: trimming shrubs and conifers, watering, weeding flower beds and young trees, forming planting holes, mowing lawns, removing and transporting dry foliage, soil cultivation, cutting flowers, felling and pruning trees, and more.
Additionally, workers regularly clean the parks and squares: sweeping paths, emptying trash bins, and clearing green spaces of litter.
Fallen leaves are only removed from lawns adjacent to pathways to keep them looking tidy. In other parts of green areas, fallen leaves are left in place as they promote the development of soil microflora and fauna.
About 170 landscapers participate in these activities daily, using 29 units of special equipment, including washing vehicles and passenger cargo vans JAC.
