Tulip Planting in Odesa: New Floral Initiatives
The employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Municipal Green Trust» are actively engaged in planting tulips in Odesa. This autumn, the city received over 98 thousand colorful tulips from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Netherlands. The project is managed by the «Grant Office Odesa 5T».
Currently, the gardeners are working at several locations.
In Istanbul Park, about 3,700 tulips are being planted, which will adorn a new flowerbed created by the enterprise's workers. The flowerbed is designed in the shape of a large heart, featuring flowers in the colors of Odesa's flag.
Floral patterns made of tulips will beautify the area near the Regional State Administration, where the Municipal Green Trust is planting around 3,000 flowers.
The planting of tulips is also ongoing in other green spaces across the city. In Shevchenko Park alone, 10,200 tulip bulbs have already been planted.
A significant number of tulips are planned to be planted in the central part of the city, near the administrations, at the Tenth of April Square, as well as in parks and squares of Odesa.
