Fight Night in Odesa: Highlights of MMA and Kickboxing
On September 11, an evening of mixed martial arts MMA and KICKBOXING-PRO took place at Red Line in Odesa, organized by Ukrainian Fights Promotion with the support of the Odessa Regional State Administration, honoring the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The event was announced by the organizer, the president of Ukrainian Fights Promotion, Oleksandr Hordienko.
At the beginning of the event, star host Anastasia Tsymbalaru and the country’s main ring announcer, Serhiy Bryl, welcomed the attendees, after which the commander of the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Brovdi Robert (Madyar), expressed gratitude to the organizers in a video address and wished success to the fighters in the octagon.
During the opening ceremony, welcoming words were delivered by the first deputy head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Kharlov, the president of the national kickboxing federation of Ukraine “ISKA,” Oleg Manziuk, the head of the charity fund “Modern Ukraine,” Volodymyr Havrush, the deputy of the Zeus group of companies, Ihor Varbanets, and co-founder of Ukrainian Fights Promotion, Dmytro Popovych.
The event was also attended by notable sports figures, officials, military personnel, and business leaders.
The evening featured 9 intense bouts: 5 mixed martial arts fights and 4 professional kickboxing matches. Some of the best fighters in Ukraine participated, including European and world champions.
The night was filled with thrilling fights and spectacular knockouts.
Special guests of the event included the band “Dubky,” who delivered lively musical hits.
From the command of the drone forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Medvedyev Vitaliy presented the organizers with a flag.
