Ukrainian Judo Championship for Young Cadets
The Ukrainian Judo Championship for young cadets under 17 years took place from November 17 to 19, 2025, in Uzhgorod.
Over 500 athletes born between 2009 and 2011 participated from 21 regions of Ukraine.
The Odesa region team was represented by students from the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15 in Odesa.
In the 73 kg weight category, Vladimir Sorvachov won a silver medal, while Yuriy Pinchuk took home the bronze in the 66 kg category.
The athletes were trained by coach Hennadiy Yaremenko.
There are 143 young athletes training in the judo sections of the municipal children's and youth sports schools in Odesa.
