Ukrainian Billiards Championship: Odessa's Triumph
From October 3 to 13, 2024, the Ukrainian billiards championship was held in Kyiv for men and women with mobility impairments, as well as for veterans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their families.
Athletes from the organization «Odessa-Basket» participated and secured prize positions in the championship.
Serhiy Kotsyuba claimed the first place among veterans, while Valeriy Chuhuiev and Dmytro Danilov received third places.
During a special session of the Odessa City Council, Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov officially congratulated the athletes from «Odessa-Basket» on their victories.
«You are a true example of courage and spirit. Your achievements inspire us all and show that there are no obstacles for those who aim for victory», - expressed the pride of the Odessa mayor for the winners.
Additionally, Hennadiy Trukhanov reminded everyone about the «Social Taxi» project, which offers free transportation for people with disabilities.
«This project is a significant step towards ensuring equal opportunities for all residents of Odessa. We strive to create comfortable conditions for everyone», - noted the mayor of Odessa.
