Sports Achievements in Mukachevo
The city of Mukachevo in Transcarpathia hosted the Ukrainian Boccia Championship for athletes with mobility impairments. A total of 66 athletes from 13 regions participated in the event.
Representing the Odesa region were Ivanna Shvets and Ivan Myslyai, students of the Odesa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports for Disabled Individuals, known as 'Invasport'.
The athletes were trained by Natalia Yushkina, the senior coach of the national boccia team.
Competition results:
- Ivanna Shvets claimed first place and was crowned Ukraine's boccia champion.
- Ivan Myslyai continues to gain competitive experience and secured sixth place in this championship.
The achievements of our athletes represent a significant contribution to the development of inclusive sports in the region and the country. Each step towards victory shows that sports should be accessible to everyone and deserves greater support!
