Government Support for Business in Odesa Region
According to the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration, significant investments have been made to support local enterprises.
The funding was allocated to:
- 15 processing enterprises – 74.8 million UAH
- 813 participants of the «Own Business» program – 201.5 million UAH
- 5 greenhouse farms – 30 million UAH
- 14 horticulturists – 42.8 million UAH
- 36 veterans and their families – 17.5 million UAH
“In total, 349 million UAH in government investments for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Odesa region! This is the fifth highest among Ukraine's regions,” the OVA noted.
Despite the war, over the past year, foreigners opened more than a thousand new companies in Ukraine. The capital saw the highest number of new businesses, while the Odesa region ranked second after Lviv Oblast in popularity.
