Kyivstar Gains Approval to Acquire Tabletki.ua
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has finally approved Kyivstar’s acquisition of control over the owner of Tabletki.ua, LLC "MTPK" after several attempts.
The decision was made on January 29, 2026.
In 2022, Kyivstar had already acquired a controlling stake in the health platform Helsi and increased its share in May 2025 from 69.99% to 97.99%.
In early 2025, it was first reported that Kyivstar was attempting to purchase Tabletki.ua. According to the AMC, Kyivstar submitted its application to acquire the online pharmacy booking service in November 2024, but the regulator did not approve it. In February 2025, Kyivstar resubmitted its application to the AMC for the acquisition of LLC "MTPK".
In August 2025, the Antimonopoly Committee indicated that the merger of the online systems Helsi and Tabletki.ua could lead to a concentration exceeding 35%, which could restrict competition. However, on January 29, 2026, the regulator approved the acquisition.
Tabletki.ua is a website and app that allows users to find and reserve medications at specific pharmacies. Founded in 2010, the service has nearly 10 million users. Initially a price aggregator, it evolved into a booking platform for medications, connecting 5000 pharmacies in 2018, and now collaborates with 12,000 points of sale, representing about 70% of the pharmaceutical retail market.
According to Forbes Ukraine's February 2025 assessment, the value of Tabletki.ua could range between $30-80 million, reflecting the business's high profitability. In the first nine months of 2024, LLC "MTPK" reported a revenue of 517 million UAH.
Recently, there were rumors that Kyivstar intended to acquire a stake in COMFY, but according to sources, this deal will not go through.
