Choral Festival
On December 23, 2024, the V choral festival «Winter Harmony» kicked off in the charming atmosphere of the Odessa Literary Museum, organized by the Art School No. 15 named after T. I. Boieva.
The festival was inaugurated by the director of the Department of Culture of the Odessa City Council, who extended warm Christmas wishes and inspiration for creativity.
Featuring Christmas songs, choirs from art schools and music institutions in Odessa and the region delivered unforgettable experiences to the audience.
The festival also hosted a conference titled «Contemporary Approaches to Choral Singing in Ukraine».
During the conference, the development of folk singing and innovations in choral education were discussed.
The second day of the festival, December 24, 2024, will be dedicated to online performances by ensembles from various cities in Ukraine, including Odessa, Chornomorsk, Kryvyi Rih, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, with participation from choirs from Norway and Moldova.
