Celebrating 25 Years of 'Zabava' Choir
On December 19, a festive concert of the 'Zabava' choir took place at the Odessa Philharmonic, marking the 25th anniversary of its artistic endeavors. It was a special event for all art enthusiasts.
Ivan Liptyga, the Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration, congratulated the participants and presented them with honorary awards.
«It is crucial that young talents emerge on the big stage, developing alongside professionals. Recently, a cultural project titled "Odessa. U-NEXT" united the artistic schools of the city, showcasing the synergy of various stages of music education. This is how new stars of Odessa are born,» stated Liptyga.
During the concert, the 'Zabava' collective performed compositions alongside the Chamber Orchestra of the Odessa Regional Philharmonic named after D. Oistrakh, conducted by Vladimir Dyk.
The young artists showcased impressive performance skills under the guidance of Svitlana Smyrnova. The concert also featured renowned musicians and singers who have collaborated with the ensemble for many years.
The 'Zabava' children's choir has been reaffirmed with the title of "Exemplary".
