New Meal Program for Students in Odesa
A new meal program has been launched for students in grades 1-4 in two districts of Odesa. Two other districts are finalizing their procurement processes.
Today, November 14, the mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, inspected the meal organization and spoke with students and parents at one of the largest schools in the Kyiv district.
The mayor also participated in a school training drill conducted during alerts. Recently, work was completed to expand the shelter.
"Every day, nearly 2000 children are taught here, attending classes in shifts to comply with safety regulations. Previously, the school's shelter could hold only 250 people, which was insufficient. A decision was made to expand it, and all necessary conditions were established. Today, the shelter accommodates twice as many people," concluded the mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov.
