Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky extended his greetings to healthcare professionals on their special day, expressing gratitude to all who save lives amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia.
This announcement was made via his Telegram channel.
"Today we celebrate a day of strength, endurance, and humanity. It is a day for those who always come to help, heal and support. This is the day of medical professionals in Ukraine. I thank each and every one of you, whether in white coats or temporary vests: doctors, nurses, paramedics, combat medics, and all those working in hospitals, operating rooms, and emergency departments, as well as stabilization points. You are saving our people. Your daily heroism is commendable. Thanks to you, life goes on. I express my deep respect to each of you for your dedicated work during these challenging times. Thank you for everything you do for Ukraine." - stated Zelensky.
