Accessibility Initiatives in Odesa for 2025-2026
The city of Odesa has approved a new action plan aimed at creating an accessible environment for the years 2025-2026. The implementation of this plan is overseen by the Council of Accessibility under the city mayor.
Experts from the municipal enterprise ‘City Roads’ are actively working on the installation of ramps at pedestrian crossings throughout Odesa.
By the start of 2025, a total of 85 ramps will be installed across the city, with 34 featuring tactile tiles on the new surfaces as part of the ‘Barrier-Free Odesa’ initiative.
