Enhancing Collaboration: Odessa's City Council and Local Communities
A significant meeting took place at the Odessa City Council focused on enhancing cooperative relations with local communities in the Odessa region.
During the meeting with the leadership of the Tairov territorial community, the parties addressed challenges related to new construction in light of limited engineering network resources and social infrastructure.
Specifically, discussions revolved around the enhancement of adjacent engineering networks, collaboration in education and healthcare, social support for residents, as well as transport connectivity.
«We must establish a joint strategy that will enable the Odessa agglomeration to grow proportionally, rather than just in square meters. The old infrastructure can no longer handle the load», - emphasized Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
«In the context of the General Plan, we have worked everything out; we need to establish common rules for neighborly relations and act in unison», - supported by Alexander Orlov, Secretary of the Tairov Village Council.
