How to Avoid Scams on Telegram
Scammers are using fake video messages on Telegram to trick people into giving money or spreading phishing links.

Details: The agency explains how the criminals operate:
- They first hack into an account and download the user's video messages;
- Then, they create a fake monologue where the hacked user supposedly asks for money;
- They send this forged video to the user's friends and acquaintances.
To protect yourself from fraud, law enforcement suggests verifying information when you receive such a suspicious video. Ask your acquaintance to contact you via another messenger or call you. It's also advisable to enable two-factor authentication for your account's protection.
