Water Quality Analysis in Odesa's Public Wells
Recent assessments of water in 16 public wells in Odesa have confirmed that it meets hygiene standards.
This information was released by the Odesa City Council.
Experts from the State Institution «Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» conducted the tests under an agreement with the «Service Center» utility. Testing is performed monthly.
As of March 31, 2025, microbiological tests indicate that the water in the public wells complies with the sanitary requirements of DSANPIN 2.2.4-171-10. All research protocols are available for review directly at the wells.
It is noteworthy that around 45,000 residents of Odesa use the water from these wells daily. The boreholes range in depth from 111 to 149 meters, and the average consumption at one facility is 8–12 cubic meters of water per day.
