New Initiative for Young Readers in Odessa
The Centralized City Library System for Children in Odessa is excited to announce a new initiative for book lovers and film enthusiasts titled «Book in Frame».
This project is dedicated to the birthday of the renowned Ukrainian author Volodymyr Rutkivskyi, recipient of the All-Ukrainian T.G. Shevchenko Prize. The initiative «Book in Frame» is now commencing in children's libraries across Odessa.
The film adaptation of Volodymyr Rutkivskyi's work «The Watchman's Outpost» has captured the attention of both Ukrainian and European audiences. It tells a story about our history intertwined with modernity. As part of this initiative, children’s library patrons will have the opportunity to view this film and share their thoughts afterward.
