Inclusive Beach at Delfin: Preparations for Summer Season
Maria Popova, representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in the Odessa region, inspected the preparations for the inclusive beach at Delfin for the upcoming summer health season.
Currently, work is underway to install walkways, and all recreation areas are regularly inspected by an expert group from the Barrier-Free Council, which includes veterans and people with disabilities.
Maria Popova confirmed that the preparations are proceeding properly, and the city will ensure the beach's functionality, including water supply and sewage.
"If there are no obstacles, we expect the opening of the updated inclusive beach", - stated the representative of the Commissioner.
Marat Korolev, head of the Primorsky district administration, noted that another inclusive beach is being prepared for opening this season at the 11th station of the Great Fountain, with renovation work currently ongoing.
All preparations for inclusive locations are under the personal control of the city's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.
It is worth noting that 2025 has been declared the Year of Accessibility in Odessa.
