Increase in Job Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities in Ukraine
Over the past two years, the share of job vacancies for individuals with disabilities in Ukraine has significantly increased from 7% to 12%.
This information is highlighted in a study conducted by Work.ua.
In the last two years, the number of job offers suitable for individuals with disabilities has risen from 4,315 in January 2023 to 12,092 in March 2025.
Among the positions available for individuals with disabilities are: sales consultant, sales manager, driver, client relations manager, cashier, accountant, cleaner, loader, call center operator, pharmacist, general laborer, chef, and security guard.
Work.ua also analyzed which job positions have the highest percentage of vacancies suitable for individuals with disabilities:
banking branch specialist (57% of all vacancies for this position are suitable for individuals with disabilities);
- cashier-operator (56%);
- solderer (40%);
- German language teacher (36%);
- Polish language teacher (34%);
- international driver (33%);
- financial consultant (32%).
Additionally, Work.ua examined the industries with the highest share of vacancies marked for "Individuals with Disabilities":
- Nonprofit, charitable, and community organizations — 26%;
- Finance, banking, insurance — 26%;
- Media — 25%;
- Security and protection — 25%;
- Machine engineering — 19%.
