Enhancing Accessibility at Pedestrian Crossings in Odesa
Experts from the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» are diligently working on installing ramps at pedestrian crossings in Odesa.
Since the beginning of 2025, ramps have been established at 12 locations. A total of 32 ramps have been installed: 36 Heneuizka St. (2); 3 Heavenly Hundred Ave. (2); Artillery St./Krasnova St. (2); 19 Prince Yaroslav the Wise St. (2); Shampan Alley (1); Ukrainian Heroes Ave./Nina Strokata St. (6); 57 Balkivska St. (4); Sadova St./Vsevolod Zmiienko St. (1); Academy Filatov St./Cosmonauts St. (6); 44 Hretska St. (2); Hretska St./Ivan Lutsenko Alley (3); Hretska Square (1).
Odesa has approved a new Action Plan for creating a barrier-free environment for 2025–2026. The implementation of these measures is monitored by the Barrier-Free Council under the Mayor of Odesa.
