Support for Usyk from the Ukrainian Security Service
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) expressed its best wishes to boxer Oleksandr Usyk ahead of his fight with British contender Daniel Dubois.
The message was posted on the official SBU Facebook page, featuring a joint photo of Usyk with SBU head Vasyl Maliuk.
"Today, all of Ukraine stands with you, Champion! Oleksandr, in the ring, you are not just a fighter, but a role model for all of Ukraine, which never backs down. Millions of hearts will fight alongside you. These are the ones in the trenches, conducting operations, saving the wounded in hospitals, and providing support from the rear.
Once again, show the world what Ukrainian character, discipline, skill, and precision are all about! We believe in you and know that victory will be yours!", the post states.
Reminder: The Usyk-Dubois fight is scheduled for today, July 19, in London at Wembley. The champion will host an online marathon covering all the exciting events of the week leading up to this major bout.
