According to the UAF press service, the FSK 'Palmira' team, one of the strongest in the Odessa region at the amateur level, faced the veterans in an exhilarating contest. Right from the start, the home team took the lead with a goal by Ruslan Khvan, giving 'Palmira' a psychological edge.
In the second half, Yuri Maximov equalized for the veterans, and the main time ended with a score of 1:1, leading to a penalty shootout where the veterans proved to be more accurate, winning 3:2.
The UAF press service noted that the match was indeed tense, finishing with a score of 3:2 in favor of the veterans.
