Ukrainian Athletes Shine at Muay Thai Tournament in Lviv
From October 9 to 12, the city of Lviv hosted the «Artan Cup» for Muay Thai under the auspices of the International Federation of Muay Thai (IFMA).
This tournament was dedicated to the memory of fallen heroes and Ukrainian athletes who have taken up arms to defend their homeland.
Boxers competed not only for the Artan Cup but also for the opportunity to represent Ukraine at the European Championship.
Odesa athletes performed remarkably well. Dmytro Zanin earned a silver medal in the under 60 kg category, while Nikita Kuts (under 57 kg), Mykhailo Serdiuk (under 60 kg), and Bohdan Studnev (under 63 kg) claimed the Ukraine Cup. The athletes were trained by instructors Volodymyr Pishenin, Andrii Vakharash, and Kostyantyn Trishin.
