Odesa Gymnasts Shine at National Championships
Odesa gymnasts showcased their skills at the recent National Championships and Cup of Ukraine. The competitions concluded on October 31 in Vinnytsia, featuring teams from eight regions and Kyiv.
The city of Odesa was represented by athletes from the Complex Children and Youth Sports Schools No. 1 and No. 3.
The women’s group, consisting of Sofia Puzdrach, Anna Lutzker, and Alina Fesik, secured 3rd place in the all-around category for ages 10-16 (CMSU), marking a significant achievement.
The pair of Maria Dukhnevich and Kateryna Savchuk narrowly missed the podium, finishing 4th in balance and dynamics at the adult Cup of Ukraine.
The athletes were trained by coaches Oksana Kopecka and Tamara Zahrebelska, who prepared them for these competitions.
