International Acrobatics Championship in Chisinau
From October 24 to 27, 2024, Chisinau hosted international acrobatic sports competitions, known as the open championship of Moldova.
During the three days of competition, 165 athletes from Chisinau, Tiraspol, Bender, Sucleia, Artiz, Odessa, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi showcased their skills in this spectacular sport.
Representing Odessa were the students of the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 3: Sofia Puzdrach, Alina Fesyk, and Anna Lutsker, who secured first place in the candidates for master of sports program.
The athletes were trained by their coaches Oksana Kopecka and Tamara Zahrebelyna.
In Odessa, 212 athletes are engaged in acrobatics in children's and youth sports schools.
