Ukrainian Innovations Showcased at International Forum in Japan
The 25th anniversary exhibition of advanced technologies, CEATEC-2024, took place in Chiba, Japan.
This year, Ukrainian companies are participating for the second consecutive time in Asia's largest international exhibition.
The Odessa City Council delegation showcased Ukrainian IT innovations at a unified booth.
Director of the "Odessa 5T Grant Office" Tamiila Afanasieva presented developments from IT Family Odesa and the International Humanitarian University’s Cybersecurity Faculty.
The Odessa delegation also attended the 13th Asia Smart City Conference held in Yokohama.
The conference brought together leaders in urban development and technological innovation.
During their visit to Japan, the Odessa delegation held protocol meetings with the Mayor of Yokohama and city council members, as well as the Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan.
Additionally, working discussions were held with representatives of the Yokohama municipality and international cooperation agencies.
Important infrastructure projects for Odessa were discussed with several Japanese technology companies.
Meetings with the National Commission of Japan for UNESCO focused on preserving cultural heritage.
Japanese representatives expressed solidarity with the people of Ukraine in their fight for freedom and openness to cooperate with the Odessa community.
