Zelensky Proposes New Measures to Support Business

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has initiated new steps to protect businesses from potential inspections that may pressure entrepreneurs.

He announced this during the event "Government and Business Forum: From Dialogue to Partnership" held in Kyiv, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

"I have instructed to develop a plan for a long-term moratorium on business inspections to allow businesses to operate without pressure from unscrupulous individuals in various positions," Zelensky stated.

"We continue the work of the "State - Business" council, and I propose to expand its membership. I urge everyone involved in this work to be as active as possible," he added.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky believes that Ukraine has the potential for significant economic growth, but clear regulatory frameworks are needed.

"Ukraine can be much stronger economically, thus we need to implement many more ideas and talents of Ukrainian entrepreneurs. We need conditions, clear guidelines for state intervention, minimal and rational regulation, and strong state lobbying for Ukrainian business worldwide," Zelensky concluded.
