Museum of Remembrance in Odesa: Honoring Genocide Victims

In Odesa, a modern museum is dedicated to honoring the memory of genocide victims. This city, like many others, carries a history intertwined with the tragic events of the Holocaust. We will forever remember those who perished during those horrifying times. The museum's exhibitions and displays serve to convey testimonies to future generations, as this is part of our shared history and memory.

Last year, Odesa established a unique memorial space dedicated to the genocide of various peoples. A collective has gathered here to preserve and share human stories, infused with the spirit of enlightenment and education.

The Genocide Museum is located in the historic postal building at 10 Sadova Street.

On January 27, 2025, the global community will honor the tragic events - it marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. This day has been designated as Holocaust Memorial Day and a reminder against crimes against humanity.
