Final Event of EU4Culture Project in Chisinau
The final event of the EU4Culture program, an initiative of the European Union aimed at promoting cultural development in Eastern Partnership countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, is currently taking place in Chisinau (Moldova).
The event features city representatives, artists, and cultural sector specialists who have developed their strategies as part of the EU4Culture project. Participants are exchanging experiences and building both national and international partnerships.
"Odessa joined the project only in mid-2023, yet within a year we have achieved several significant results",
- noted Ivan Liptuga, Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and Eurointegration of the Odessa City Council.
He discussed the work on the "Odessa Cultural Development Strategy 2025-2035" - a document that will serve as a foundation for the city's cultural sector development, as well as other important initiatives:
- guide for preserving Odessa's cultural heritage;
- manual for designing Odessa's signboards;
- visualization of Odessa's symbols – creating 3D models of the city's iconic symbols and more.
The strategic vision for Odessa's cultural development has been crafted in collaboration with cultural figures, representatives of creative industries, and non-profit organizations. The document will be presented to the Odessa City Council for consideration.
