Creativity for Charity: New Horizons in Choreography
In October and November 2024, the Municipal Institution of Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charitable artistic project titled «Creativity for Charity» and a nationwide workshop «Styling Ukrainian Folk Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Contemporary Dance in Choreographic Groups».
This event was organized in partnership with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa regional organization of the union.
The funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Creativity for Charity» were allocated for purchasing necessary equipment and materials for soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odesa.
The seminar program included master classes from leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on pressing issues related to teaching contemporary dance in children's choreographic groups.
As a result of the seminar, all participants received certificates of professional development.
