Safety Celebration for Kids Ahead of International Mine Awareness Day
On the eve of International Mine Awareness Day, rescuers organized a true safety celebration for children at the «UNICEF Together» hub.
There were plenty of exciting and useful activities awaiting the kids.
They danced energetic routines with psychologists, searched for mock hazardous items using a mine detector, learned to identify munitions, tried on bomb disposal suits, and discovered what to do if they encountered an unknown object.
Additionally, there was patriotic face painting by rescuers, quizzes, riddles, and quests, along with bright «101» balloons, all contributing to a wonderfully enjoyable time in great company.
It is crucial for our children to know all about mine safety, as this knowledge preserves health and saves lives!
