Online Meeting on Inclusion in Odesa
Today, May 21, 2025, an online meeting was held in Odesa, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Natalia Kozlovska.
City council representatives participated, including: the first deputy mayor of Odesa, Oleksandr Filatov, deputy mayor Pavlo Vuhelman, the mayor's advisor on accessibility issues, Oleksiy Morozov, as well as heads of executive bodies and relevant departments.
The participants discussed the progress of the 'Barrier-Free Movement' project and the status of work on the inclusive tram route 'North-South'.
During the discussion, attention was drawn to the technical aspects of the route implementation, infrastructure adaptation for people with disabilities, veterans, and other mobility-impaired groups of the population.
Inter-agency coordination issues were also raised. The 'Barrier-Free Movement' project is a component of the national barrier-free strategy, to which Odesa is actively contributing.
