Fire Hazard Alert: What You Need to Know
Recently, two individuals were reported injured while attempting to extinguish wildfires on their own.
According to the State Environmental Inspection of the Southwestern District, the damage caused to ecosystems from such fires has exceeded 23 billion hryvnias. This is just a part of the issue, as these fires pose a threat to life and health!
In the Odesa and Bereziv districts, two people tried to extinguish the flames independently, but their actions nearly led to tragedy.
The pressing question remains: what caused the fires? Was it mere negligence, or was it arson?
Unfortunately, people continue to disregard our safety recommendations, leading to the destruction of land and health.
Remember, if you see flames spreading rapidly, do not overestimate your abilities. Move to a safe distance and wait for rescuers. Most importantly, you can easily prevent such fires by not burning dry vegetation!
