Independence Day — is not just a date on the calendar. It — is our pain, our pride, and our resilience.
We recognize the cost of independence. It is every life sacrificed for freedom. It is the heroes who defend our land day after day. It is the doctors who, despite exhaustion, continue to save lives. It is the teachers who, regardless of challenges, educate our children. It is all of us — those who fight for their city, their nation, their future.
The mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, emphasized:
"Odesa — is a Ukrainian city. And it will remain so in history, it is so today, and it will always be so.
We see suffering and losses, but we also see strength, dignity, and resilience. I am proud that in every home, in every family, in every heart, there is one thing — love for Ukraine.
Independence — is not just a gift. It is our collective duty and our shared victory.
