Odesa's Commitment to Inclusivity and Accessibility
Odesa is diligently working towards establishing a barrier-free environment and expanding opportunities for all its residents.
The city plans to enhance the municipal beach «Otrada» to cater to veterans, children with disabilities, and other individuals with mobility challenges.
Additionally, a facility will be set up at the beach to promote adaptive rowing sports.
On August 27, during an extraordinary session, the Odesa City Council approved amendments to the «Barrier-Free Odesa» program, increasing its budget by 1 million hryvnias.
The total funding for the program in 2025 is set at 189.5 million hryvnias.
